Calculate slab volume in cubic yards and cubic feet, including an optional waste allowance.
Enter your supplier’s material price. A zero price leaves cost unpriced. Example dimensions and allowances are editable.
Cubic yards = length × width × (thickness in inches ÷ 12) ÷ 27. Order volume = calculated volume × (1 + waste ÷ 100).
A 20 × 20 ft slab at 4 inches thick needs 4.94 cubic yards before waste, or 5.43 cubic yards with 10% waste.
Uniform rectangular slabs only. Footings, thickened edges and slopes are separate. Confirm thickness, reinforcement, base and supplier minimums. Delivery, pumping, reinforcement and finishing are not included in the material cost.
